The life story of a leaf

I was born in a tree, a very big tree. I had 1238 brothers. My father called me "Leaf 714". I lived with him for 19 years until I left my home. I was in the floor in the forest. I was happy, but a windy day, the wind kicked me me to the city. I was on a very big park but I was picked up by a woman:

(Leaf) -Hello (seems like she doesn’t listen to me)

(Women) -Oh, what a beautiful leaf I am going to  take it

(Leaf) -Whaat are you doing!!

She carried me to a very strange place with tables. Those tables were made by wood. Maybe with my father's wood. That was so creepy. Today I am being observed by 2 kids.

SESSION 7: FEATHER

Hello,I wrote a letter for all of you, my little brothers, to explain you what happened to me when I left.

As you know we are feathers, and we live protecting our king Rupicola Peruviana. I was the main commandant and now I have two choose another of you to follow my legacy. 

I have two candidates: 

- Arwen, you were my partner; you accompanied me in almost all my adventures 

- Idril, you were one of the bravest and the most honest of the pack. 

And now it is your decision. I will miss you a lot, my little brother. I hope you remember me forever. 

Don't worry about me, now I'm fine.  I'm in a river where I've met more feathers which have helped me overcome my fall. 

Now I see the world diferently, form  below. 

Everything is bigger:  the trees,  the birds,  the stones... 

I hear more sounds than before but I miss felling the wind.

Hi, I'm Timmy the seashell and I'm very happy to explain to you my life.
I started as a little shell.

I lived with my parents in a beach called Maui in Hawaii, but when I grew up I moved to an European beach called Barceloneta in Barcelona, Spain.

When I arrived there I met an old oyster and I talked with him:
-Hi, I'm new in that beach. 

Do you recommend me to live here?

-Yes! It's a wonderful beach and there are some beautiful fishes over there! But there's a problem:People around here aren't clean.
The sea is dirty and full of human trash.
-Oh well, I can live with this trash.
-I see you later little boy, I have to talk to my sister now!
-Bye, bye!

After that conversation, I went to the edge of the sea and a human called Reyes took me!
I didn't noticed, but 5 minutes later I was already in his house!
The next day, she put me on a bag and carried me to Francesc Macià high school.

This high school looks a little bit old and dirty. 

I'll love to return to my home!

If I were this girl, I would run until the end of the tunnel to go to another dimension. I would feel excited and frightened. My next decission would be to try to pass across the proofs before going to the new dimension called Âlcälamåná. I would hope to arrive alive to Âlcälamåná, because I would want to save my brother Eros.

The first proof is the most difficult to me. I would be very worried because only true descendants of citizens can go across. My mother is one of them, but my father not.

No matter what, I would make all the possible to save my brother.

If I were this girl , I would go to the end of the tunnel. I would feel afraid, frightened ,intrigued and curious by what can be there.

I would have arrived here because someone had kidnapped me and left me there. 

My next decission would be to run to the opposite side of the tunnel. 

My hope would be that nobody would be in the red light and that I would arrive to my house.

Safe and sound: It means "not hurt or damaged".

Shout: A person who speaks louder than normal.

Sound of door: A strong sound .

Steps: They are followed and with a strong and continuous sound.

Boys talking: Diferent voices and diferent conversations .

Keyboard: Continuous but low.

Water drop: Water falling from the rooftop.

Boiler: Sounds like an airplane.

People laughing: Happy people laughing with they friends in class.

Closing window: Someone closing window.

Shouth: People shouthing in class, angry teachers or crazy students.

Steps: Someone walking or running in the passages of the school.

Mouse: The 'click' of the mouse of the computer, in the tecnology classroom.

Water from the heater:The sound was like if there was a mini waterfall. 

Children screaming: It was like if someone wad fighting on a stage and the people were battling for the winner. 

Chairs: It sounded like if the chairs were falling hard to the ground. 

Boiler: It sounded like a nuclear reactor.

Vicens shouting:It sounded like if someone was torturing him.

Nara Gómez 

People talking: I don't know what they are saying, because there are so many people making a lot of noise. Some voices are loud, and some not too much.

Steps: Slow ones, they sound so close. Probably the person who was making that sounds was near us.

Key chain: The janitor's keys are making a lot of noise. It sounds high and metallic.

Keyboard: This noise comes from the computer classroom. It sounds not so loudly. Arround 20 people are using computers I think.

Laughs: A whole class is laughing. Probably, someone has made a very funny joke.

The 'click' of a pen: the sound when using a pen of a child who wrote in his notebook.

Children screaming: The screams of some children in the classroom, similar to the sounds of a jungle.

A window opening: A window of a class opened, I thought the window was stuck.

Sound of keys: They seemed the sound of bells.

A door closing: I did not expect it and I was scared of the loud noise it made.

Vicenç shouting: the teacher shouts to a boy. The sound was very loud.

Boys running: there were boys running in the playground.

English: In a class there has a video of an english girl talking.

Tables moving: the tables were moving in a class. The sound was very anoying.

Children shouting: the children were shouting in the class.

Water: It was like a River slowly descending through the pipes of the boiler.

Boiler: The sound was like hot air passing through a ventilation duct.

Ball: It sounded like if two plastic hoteles collide.

Children's steps: It sound like if someone is doing a voice inside the high school.

Keyboard: It sounded like little steps of rats.

Steps: sound that makes the feet when they touch a surface.

Squeaks: sound that comes out of children's mouths.

Keys: sound that is caused when a key is pressed.

Clapping: sound that occurs when the hands clash with each other. 

Steps: sound that occurs when touching the ground or a surface with the sole of the foot.

Computer keys: sound that occurs when you press a computer key.

Water: sound produced by water when it is moved or when falling.

Bird: sound that makes the bird that is like a song that birds do.

Fairy: a fairy is a small thing person, has wings can fly. She is a fictional character, usually, they are good persons.

Gift: Is an object that is usually given to reward someone or for your birthday.

Friend: is a person who helps you in the bad moments and you have a high degree of confidence.

Fairy: They can fly and there are very beautifull. They are very small. They aren't real.

Gift: It can be an object or no. Normally it is given for  birthdays.

Friend: Is a confident person . You have fun with he/she and helps you when you need help.

Gift:Is a thing, object, gadget, etc, that you give to another person, and you hope he/she likes it. 

Friend:Is a person that makes you feel comfortable, he/she is a faithfull person with you, and helps you with anything you need to do.Also is a life companion.

Fairy: A fairy is a fictional character who usually are small and has wings, and usually she comes out in cartoons for children.

Friend: Friend is a person with whom you have a minimum of trust and friendship. They are to support you in a good times and bad times.

Working with "Peanut Gallery" was so funny, because the videos made us laugh a lot, and we learned a lot of vocabulary searching words for put in the subtitles. We also learned the pronunciation because the laptop don't recognize the voice if you don't speak with an American pronunciation.

We loved this kind of activities.

Lucas and Abril made the dialogue based on the argument between the dinosaurs about pizza vs spaghetti.

Abril recorded the text with her voice (after trying 60000 times) and Lucas finally edited the text (adding exclamations and interrogations) with the link of the video.

The recording of the film has been interesting and we have learned many things. For example, now, we know how to translate a film. We also know how to send the film to upload it on the blog. Finally, we liked it the whole experience.

First we watched all the short films and we chose one of them, the most funny we found. Then we invented the dialogue and write it on apiece of paper. The next day we recorded the film. Th experience was so good, we had fun all the time. It's an app that everyone has to try and record a film. We also tried to share the video but we couldn't.

In this place, there are children; boys and girls. There are different subjects. There are children playing football, tennis, basketball and playing in the floor. They have 30 minutes to eat some lunch. While parents are working; the children learn and spend time with their friends. At 12:30, they take a long break, and take the opportunity to eat.
